Your job was already hard before the COVID-19 pandemic came to town and disrupted the systems and practices that you rely on. While we can’t begin to understand the pressures you are under, know that we are here and working to provide information and resources to support you during these uncertain times.
In the coming weeks, our capacity-building team and other colleagues will be reaching out to learn what AdoptUSKids can do to help you. We’ll also continue to direct you to trusted sources of information for you and the families you work with.
- Child Welfare Information Gateway is a clearinghouse for COVID-19-related resources for professionals, including a list of resources by state.
- The Chronicle of Social Change is rounding up national COVID-19 information related to child welfare practice.
- We just published a new article on our blog containing resources you can share with families.
And remember, there is a lot of misinformation out there. For the latest information about the COVID-19 pandemic: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes for Health, and your local health department are where you should turn.
